Delivery Terms

 

When a gift is requested for Collection from Giftit4U in Netanya, a date and time slot along with our address will be sent to the customer of when to collect at least 24 hours before collection. The customer should ensure the gift is collected during the allocated time slot. If the customer is unable to collect their gift at the allocated time slot, another time slot will be given at our convenience.

Our Couriers

We use reliable special couriers that guarantee delivery within these time frames. Our drivers will do their best to deliver to the correct address and will contact the recipient when needed. The customer should ensure a correct full name, full address and phone number is provided when placing their order.

 

When a gift is ordered to the Sharon District (up to 2 business days), an approximate time of delivery will be given to the customer at least 24 hours before delivery will be made. These deliveries are usually Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 9am - 1pm unless agreed otherwise with the customer. The customer should contact Giftit4U if a Friday delivery is requested before making payment. Additional delivery fees apply for FridayIf a customer has a specific request for delivery time, they should contact us and we will do our best to accommodate if possible.

When a gift is sent via Special Courier (approximately 1-5 Business Days once ordered), the customer will be informed of a delivery day. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery time so the customer should clearly state when purchasing whether to leave the gift on the recipients doorstep or with their direct neighbor if the recipient is not at home or unreachable.

When a gift is sent via Standard Delivery (approximately up to 5 business days), we cannot guarantee an exact delivery day or time so the customer should clearly state when purchasing whether to leave the gift on the recipients doorstep or with their direct neighbor if the recipient is not at home or unreachable.

What happens if on delivery the recipient is unreachable for the Sharon District Delivery?

If the recipient of the gift is unreachable (not answering the door and the phone), the gift will automatically be left on their doorstep or with a direct neighbor. This option is only possible if access to the recipient or neighbor's residence is accessible. Once delivered, the customer and recipient will be notified via Whatsapp.

Giftit4U does not take responsibility for the gift once it has been delivered this way.

If there is no access to the recipient or direct neighbors residence on delivery, the gift will be returned and an extra delivery fee may be charged to redeliver.

What happens if on delivery the recipient is unreachable for Special Courier?

When gifts are sent via Special Courier, Giftit4U cannot guarantee an exact delivery time so the customer should instruct clearly when purchasing whether to leave the gift on the recipients doorstep or with their direct neighbor if the recipient is not home and unreachable (not answering their phone). Gifts may automatically be left on the recipients doorstep if accessible to the courier and if no specific instructions have been provided by the customer. If there is no access to leave the gift on their doorstep or with a direct neighbor, the gift may be returned to Giftit4U and an additional fee for redelivery may incur.

What happens if on delivery the recipient is unreachable for Standard Delivery?

When gifts are sent via Standard Delivery, Giftit4U cannot guarantee an exact delivery day or time so the customer should instruct clearly when purchasing whether to leave the gift on the recipients doorstep or with their direct neighbor if the recipient is not home and unreachable (not answering their phone). Gifts may automatically be left on the recipients doorstep if accessible to the courier and if no specific instructions have been provided by the customer. If there is no access to leave the gift on their doorstep, the courier may attempt delivery again the next day or the gift may be returned to Giftit4U and an additional fee for redelivery may incur.

What happens if incorrect details of the recipient were provided when purchasing a gift?

If the customer provided an incorrect address or incorrect phone number of the recipient and the courier was unsuccessful to deliver, the gift may be returned to Giftit4U or another attempt to deliver will be made on another day. An additional fee to the customer may incur to redeliver. No refund will be given.

The customer should ensure that a correct full address and phone number are provided including recipients name when purchasing for a smooth delivery.

Custom Gifts

Custom gifts may take more time to dispatch due to sourcing customers requested gift items but Giftit4U will do our best to dispatch the gift on time. If the customer has a specific delivery date, the customer should be in contact with us to let us know and we will do our best to dispatch it on time.

Giftit4U does not take responsibility for gifts if delivered on the recipients doorstep or to a neighbor.

Business days are stated as Sunday through Thursday not including Jewish holidays.

GIFT NOTE

If the customer would like to include a gift note with their gift, it should be provided when purchasing or alternatively, the note can be sent via WhatsApp to +972-58-484-1507. Gift notes should be kept short.

FOOD PRODUCTS

If a fresh fruit, dried fruit, nut, candy, chocolate or treat/snack shown or mentioned in a gift on our website is out of stock, it will be automatically replaced for a similar alternative. Please note that fruits are seasonal so our fruit platters may include different fruits.

ALLERGIES: Please note that some of our products may contain gluten, milk, sesame, soy and nuts or traces of it. If you know the recipient has a known allergy, please contact us to see what we can do.

Most of our pre-packaged products are with a Badatz hechsher but some may be OU or Rabbanut and are usually stated under each product. Please let us know if a specific hechsher is required before ordering and we will do our best to accommodate.

All our homemade products are made with Badatz ingredients only and cooked in a fully strict kosher kitchen without a kosher certificate (teudah).

RETURNS

Cancelling a gift

If the customer would like to cancel a gift before it has been dispatched, a partial or full refund will be given. Any homemade food gifts once made will be given a partial refund.

Once a gift is dispatched, there is no option to cancel.

If the customer is cancelling a gift, the customer may be charged for any transactional fees and any additional fees that have been paid already in advance. 

 

Complaints

Once the gift has been delivered, if the customer feels entitled to a partial or full refund, an email or Whatsapp should be sent to abigiftit4u@gmail.com or +972-58-484-1507 within 3 business days of delivery date.

No refund will be given if delivery was attempted and unsuccessful due to the recipient being unreachable or incorrect delivery details were provided.

Once an order has been placed, if the customer requests a change or need to update details, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate.
